    1. SL02 is 2 standard boxes, at about 9100 feet, in the South Lake near Bishop region.

    2. Directions from Steve Eckert, with GPS waypoint, Sep 2002:
      Two standard boxes at the Tyee Lakes parking area and bridge along the road up to the South Lake trailhead.

    3. Find waypoint SL02 in region waypoints or all waypoints file.
      (NAD83 decimal degrees or NAD27 UTM data suitable for TOPO! software or Waypoint+ software)
        (lat,lon) = (37.1960000, -118.5646800) in decimal degrees, NAD83.
  (zone,east,north) = (11S, 361215.0, 4117564.0) in decimal meters, NAD27.
    4. Previous box is SL01: South Lake Trailhead.

    5. Scroll down for a regional map of the entire South Lake near Bishop region.

    6. Use Google Maps or Google Earth to view this region overlaid with roads and trails on satellite images or maps.
