    Bear box 'AA02'
    (Agnew Meadows Campground)

    1. AA02 is over 20 large boxes, at about 8300 feet, in the Ansel Adams Wilderness (formerly Minaret Wilderness) region.

    2. Directions from George Barnes (Aug 2006):
      Each of the 21 campsites in the Agnew Meadows Campground has a large bear box. I expect there may be more than one in the group campsite.

    3. Find waypoint AA02 in region waypoints or all waypoints file.
      (NAD83 decimal degrees or NAD27 UTM data suitable for TOPO! software or Waypoint+ software)
        (lat,lon) = (37.6828600, -119.0900500) in decimal degrees, NAD83.
  (zone,east,north) = (11S, 315783.0, 4172485.0) in decimal meters, NAD27.
    4. Previous box is AA01XX: Shadow Lake.

    5. Next box is AA03: Reds Meadow Campground.

    6. Scroll down for a regional map of the entire Ansel Adams Wilderness (formerly Minaret Wilderness) region.

    7. Use Google Maps or Google Earth to view this region overlaid with roads and trails on satellite images or maps.
