Mt Humphreys

David Fredericks and i climbed the standard route - Southwest
Face/Northwest chute - on Thursday, August 12th. The weather was cool,
clear and breezy. The entire range was visible from Langley to
Matterhorn -amazing! There was snow and a bit of verglace on the route
from previous days of bad weather. Of interest was the fact that Galen
Rowell was the last person to summit the peak in '98. He did so in
November, solo, via the Southeast ridge.
