Please mirror the issues of Scree that are not currently on Climber.Org
as well as new ones as they are published in Scree.

We want more, not less, people to know what we, the Sierra Club, are doing.
The mirroring is a great service to the club.

Aaron,

I talked with Dave Simon today (tuesday) and we agreed that the Scree
starting at January 2000 forward should be archived on the sierra club
server and can be mirrored over at climber.Org.  The stuff previous to
January 2000 can stay on Climber.Org.  I am not sure what this means in
terms of work load.

I raised some of your concerns (as best I understand) wrt copyright issues
and frankly I am still unclear on most of them and probably need a lawyer to
get it right.  Dave has offered to talk to you about his understanding of
them if you are interested.  He has offered that I can send you his phone
number or you may contact him via the e-mail address in the cc of this note.

I am hoping we are coming to a close as to what we need to be doing here so
that the site(s) can be maintained in a reasonably systematic fashion
without increasing your work load.  Dee has offered to help if you need it.
