1. SL01 is 8 standard boxes, at about 9800 feet, in the GPS route SOUTH LAKE.

2. Directions from Steve Eckert, with GPS waypoint, Sep 2001:
   Eight standard boxes near the backpacker parking lot, between the toilet and the South Lake trailhead sign on the lake side of the pavement. A problem bear was killed between here and Bishop Pass in 2001.
