I enjoy off trail routes to remote areas. My longest trip is forty days, however, I frequently travel twenty-five miles in a forty-eight hour trip. I live within a few hours of the Sierra Nevada so the majority of my hiking takes place there. I climb a few peaks now and then, however, my passion is enjoying the smells and sounds of the mountains, cooking appetizing meals and just hanging out in camp after a long day traveling.
