Love sierra backpacking, sierra peaks, desert peaks, Baja and Channel Is kayaking. Climbed Picacho del Diablo from both sides, 11 of CA's fourteeners, including N Pal, mountaineers route on Whitney in bad conditions, Kilimanjaro. Walked up Telescope Peak from Shorty's well as a dayhike, over 11,000 ft gain. Crossed to San Miguel Is by kayak from Gaviota, over 30 NM. Love class 3 climbing best, but can tie in and climb 4th/5th class with a good leader, rappel without fear. This in the past 10 years, now at age 55 slowing down some.
