Hey my name is Alex and I'm in the process of gaining both mountaineering and technical climbing skills. Most of my outdoor experience has been in the Sierras, with a brief stint in Colorado. I've climbed a number of peaks in different areas, including Mt. Lyell and Matterhorn peak. As far as trad climbing experience goes I've spent time at Lover's Leap and Joshua Tree, and I'm interested in applying those skills to peak ascents.
