Cirque Peak

27 Jul 1999 - by Tom Kenney

A few weeks ago I did a traverse of Cirque Peak, near Mt. Langley. I started by going over New Army Pass and ended descending Cottonwood Pass. Mileage for the day was ~15.5 miles, mostly on good trails. The only challenging part was the final headwall of New Army Pass, which had some steep snow right at the top. Beautiful forest below the treeline, spectacular vistas above for most of the route, especially as I got further south on the ridge.
