I guide backpacking and mountaineering trips in Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia Nat'l Parks for High Sierra Adventures and am a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). I wrote the field guide to "Wild Edible and Medicinal Plants of the Sierra Nevada" and posted an FREE ONLINE version at http://www.highsierraadventures.com/plants.htm if you are interested. Climbing rock and snow are among my favorite things to do. I typically stay in the Sierra Nevada because there's an endless amount of challenges. I'm also looking for alpine mountaineering parters, so drop me a line if you're proficient with an ice axe, crampons, traditional climbing gear, anchor and belay systems, self rescue, and emergency wilderness medicine. Also FEEL FREE to email me (logan@highsierraadventures.com) if you would like some INSTRUCTION in any of the fields. I do this for a living, and would love to show you the ropes! I am also a skier and snowboarder living in the Lake Tahoe, California area and am frequently looking for people to tour/climb with. Please email me if you want to get together: logan@highsierraadventures.com. If you're looking for information about wilderness SURVIVAL SKILLS, Backcountry COOKING Tips, or other useful MOUNTAINEERING Skills, try looking at my online resource at: http://www.highsierraadventures.com/free_stuff.htm
