St Vrain

27 Mar 2001 - Jim Ippolito

My friend Steve and I snowshoed up a drainage of the Middle St. Vrain on Sunday. We started just south of Allenspark and made our way up Meadow Mountain (11,632'), which lies on the southeastern boundary of RMNP. Even though the weather was terrible in the flatlands, we had sunny skies for most of the day. It was an easy hike with relatively few people.
