Correction to Secor
Mt Reinstein
by John Wakabayashi
The guide says that it is class 3 up the northeast
ridge from Reinstein Pass. While this is probably correct, the easiest
route from Reinstein Pass is to stay on the northeast slope, west of the
ridge. The northeast slope is strictly class 2. This comment is in
essence similar to the other correction online which says it is easy
class 2 from Martha Lake. Such a route from Martha Lake would also
ascent the northeast slope.
