Correction to Secor

North Palisade, LeConte Route

by Bob Burd

"Climb this chute to the bowl that is southwest of the summit of North Palisade."

This bowl is really to the southeast of the summit (arguably south), or southwest of the summit ridge. References to this bowl can also be found in the Es Lasst Sich Nicht Lesen, West Face, and Southwest Chute route descriptions. In the U-Notch description, the bowl is accurately described as "the bowl that drops towards the southwest." Possibly these are two different bowls and I am full of shit. I let you decide. :)
